Reisiõhtu "Ehh, uhhuduur Ladina-Ameerikas - Andide ületamise võlu ja valu" l Tasuta. Esmaspäev, 16. mai kell 18.30
Iberofesti programmi eriüritusena Hispaania Majas on meil külas Hispaania Maja õpilased uhhuduurlased Kristjan Prii, Liivo Niglas ja Tanel Rütman. Kokku kuuene seltskond inspireerivaid rännumehi alustasid 2002. aastal ebatavalise ideega sõita jalgratastel Ulaanbaatarist Nepaali.
Praeguseks on neil tehtud juba viis reisi ning plaan on ratastega maakerale tiir peale teha. Nende viimane reis Lõuna-Ameerikas algas kolm aastat tagasi Atlandi rannikul väikeses Uruguay kuurortlinnas Punta del Este. Diagonaalis läbi mandri ja kuue riigi – Uruguay, Argentiina, Brasiilia, Paraguay, Boliivia ja Peruu – ning üle Andide jõudsid nad Limasse Vaikse ookeani rannikul. Sel suvel jätkavad nad nagu ikka sealt, kus eelmine kord lõpetasid ning eesmärgiks on jõuda Peruust Costa Ricasse.
Juttu tulebki nende viimasest reisist, mis oli täis katsumusi, aga ka eredaid emotsioone. Arutame ka kas ja kuidas on võimalik reisida Ladina-Ameerikas ilma hispaania keelt oskamata ning milline on ettevalmistus eesolevaks reisiks. Lood sõprusest, teel olemisest ja iseenda ületamisest.

Travel talk: Ehh, uhhuduur in Latin America – the charm and pain of crossing the Andes l Free. Monday,16th of May at 18:30
As a special event of the Iberofest program in Hispaania Maja, we have Hispaania Maja’s students Kristjan Prii, Liivo Niglas and Tanel Rütman sharing their travel experiences. In 2002, six inspiring travelers started with an unusual idea of cycling from Ulaanbaatar to Nepal.
So far, they have already made five trips and they plan to cycle around the globe. Their last trip to South America began three years ago on the Atlantic coast in the small Uruguayan resort town of Punta del Este. Diagonally, across the continent and six countries - Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru - and across the Andes, they reached Lima on the Pacific coast. This summer they will continue as usual from where they left off, with the aim of getting from Peru to Costa Rica.
We will be talking about their last trip which was full of challenges but also bright emotions. We will also discuss whether and how it is possible to travel in Latin America without speaking Spanish and what the preparations are for the upcoming trip. Stories of friendship, being on the road and overcoming yourself.

"Ehh, uhhuduur en América Latina - El dolor y el encanto de cruzar los Andes” l Gratis. 6 de mayo. 18.30
Como evento especial del programa de Iberofest en Hispaania Maja, tendremos a nuestros estudiantes Kristjan Prii, Liivo Niglas y Tanel Rütman compartiendo sus experiencias de viaje.
En 2002, seis inspiradores viajeros comenzaron con una idea inusual de ir en bicicleta de Ulaanbaatar a Nepal. Hasta el momento, ya han realizado cinco viajes y su plan es dar la vuelta al mundo en bicicleta. Su último viaje a Sudamérica fue hace tres años en la costa atlántica en el pequeño balneario uruguayo de Punta del Este. Cruzaron el continente y seis países: Uruguay, Argentina, Brasil, Paraguay, Bolivia y Perú. Atravesaron los Andes hasta llegar a Lima en la costa del Pacífico.
Este verano seguirán desde donde lo dejaron, Perú, con el objetivo de llegar a Costa Rica.
En la charla, hablarán de su último viaje, que estuvo lleno de desafíos pero también de emociones brillantes. De la amistad, de compartir tantos días juntos en el camino y de los días de superación. También de si es posible viajar por América Latina sin hablar español y cuáles son los preparativos para el próximo viaje. Estamos seguros de que será un charla muy inspiradora.

Hispaania veinivalmistamise traditsiooni pikkust saab lugeda sajanditega. Räägime sealse veininduse arengust läbi aegade ja mekime erinevate stiilidega veine: mulliga, valgeid ja punaseid. Vein ilma toiduta on aga Hispaanias sama nagu siin Kati ilma karuta. Ja kuna riisiroad on Hispaanias samuti pika ajalooga ja üks traditsioonilisemaid sööke, siis hindame toidu ja veinide sobivust sealsamas valmiva paellaga.
Veini ja selgitusi jagavad Hispaania Maja head sõbrad VINOSFAIRi sommeljeed Maret ja Aivar. Paella valmimisprotsessi tutvustab lähemalt Hispaania Maja asutaja ja kirglik kokk Neftali.

The length of the Spanish winemaking tradition can be traced back centuries. We talk about the development of winemaking in Spain through the ages and we try wines of different styles: sparkling, white and red. However, wine without food in Spain is the same as a bar without beer. And since rice dishes also have a long history and are one of the most traditional dishes in Spain, we compare the compatibility of food and wines with Spanish traditional paella made on spot.

Cata de vinos y paella española: vinos ibéricos desde la tradición hasta la actualidad l 35 €. 21 de mayo a las 13:00
La antigüedad de la tradición vitivinícola española se remonta a siglos atrás. Hablamos del desarrollo de la vinificación en España a través de los tiempos y probamos vinos de diferentes estilos: espumosos, blancos y tintos. Además, el vino sin comida en España es lo mismo que un bar sin cerveza. Y como los arroces también tienen una larga historia y son uno de los platos más tradicionales de España, degustaremos una paella tras la cata de estos deliciosos vinos.
La cata de vinos será llevada a cabo por los sumilleres de VINOSFAIR Maret y Aivar. El fundador de Hispaania Maja y un apasionado de la comida, Neftalí, presenta el proceso de elaboración de la paella con más detalle.

Hispaania Maja raamatuklubi: Bernardo Atxaga „Need taevad“ l Tasuta. Esmaspäev, 23. mai kell 18.00.
Baski keelest tõlgitud raamatuid leiab meil väga harva! Aga nüüd on Loomingu Raamatukogus Merilin Kotta tõlkes ilmunud kõige loetuma ja tõlgituma baskikeelse kirjaniku Bernardo Atxaga lühiromaan „Need taevad“. Õigupoolest on see üldse alles teine baski keelest eesti keelde tõlgitud raamat.
See on lugu 37-aastasest naisest, kes on äsja vanglast vabanenud ja bussiga teel tagasi kodulinna. Kuid mitte kõik tema kaasreisijad pole selles bussis juhuslikult ning minevikust tulevikku ei pääse sama muretult kiirteed mööda kihutades nagu Barcelonast Bilbaosse. Naise minevikku jääb võitlus ETA organisatsiooni ridades, kuid nüüd püüab ta raamatutest, mälestustest ja maastikust akna taga tuge otsides leida rahu ja kindlust edasi liikuda. Lugeja saab osa füüsilisest, vaimsest ja emotsionaalsest reisist, mis on ühtlasi elu metafoor ja mida täidavad hääled, unistused ja igatsused.
Selle kevade viimane raamatuklubi toimub ikka Hispaania Maja mõnusates ruumides, kus nii raamatu- kui veinipoe riiulid on kohe käeulatuses. Raamatuklubis osalemine on tasuta, palume anda oma tulemisest teada Hispaania Maja kodulehel. Nii vanad kui uued huvilised on väga teretulnud!

Hispaania Maja book club: Bernardo Atxaga “The lone woman” l Free. Monday, 23rd of May at 18:00
Books translated from the Basque language are very rare in our country! But now in the Loomingu Raamatukogu, a short novel "These Heavens" by the most read and translated Basque writer Bernardo Atxaga has been published by Merilin Kotta. In fact, this is only the second book translated from Basque to Estonian.
This is the story of a 37-year-old woman who has just been released from prison and is on her way back to her hometown by bus. However, not all of his fellow passengers are on this bus by chance, and from the past to the future, they cannot be reached as safely on the motorway as from Barcelona to Bilbao. The woman's past is a struggle within the ETA organization, but now she is trying to find peace and security to move forward by looking for support from books, memories and landscapes behind the window. The reader becomes part of a physical, mental and emotional journey that is also a metaphor for life and is filled with voices, dreams and longings.
The last book club of this spring still takes place in the comfortable rooms of the Hispaania Maja, where the shelves of both the bookstore and the wine shop are at your fingertips. Both old and new book lovers are very welcome!

"Club de lectura: Bernardo Atxaga “Esos cielos” l Gratis. 23 de mayo a las 18.30
Los libros traducidos del vasco al estonio son una rareza en Estonia. Y por fin, en la Loomingu Raamatukogu, una novela corta llamada “Esos cielos” del autor vasco más leído y traducido Bernardo Atxaga ha sido publicado por Merilin Kotta. Este es, de hecho, el segundo libro traducido del vasco al estonio.
Tras cuatro años de cárcel, Irene decide separarse de la organización armada a la que pertenece. Ahora es una mujer de treinta y siete años que, a pesar del miedo y los recuerdos, necesita ampliar los pasos de su antigua celda en el suelo de su ciudad, y no sabe cómo empezar a hacerlo.
En el trayecto de un viaje en autobús lleno de incidentes y pensamientos, Bernardo Atxaga simplifica la belleza de las palabras para presentarnos el rostro de alguien que ha estado en la cárcel, ha sufrido por amor, y que necesita enfrentarse a su soledad y a su desconfianza para construirse de nuevo a sí mismo.
El último club de lectura de esta primavera tiene lugar en una de las bellas salas del centro de lengua y cultura española Hispaania Maja, donde las estanterías están llenas de libros y de fantásticos vinos.
La participación en el club de lectura es gratuita pero es preferible inscribirse antes a través de la web de Hispaania Maja. Todos los interesados son muy bienvenidos. El evento es en estonio.

Marqués de Murrieta on legendiks mitte ainult Hispaanias, vaid tuntud ka rahvusvahelisel tasandil. Tema Castillo de Ygay on embleemaatiline mõis, mis loodud Prantsuse chateau eeskujul aastal 1852. Marqués de Murrieta on vanimaid pidevalt tegutsenud veinivalmistajaid Hispaanias Rioja piirkonnas. Viimased 35 aastat on olnud veinikoja omanik ja juht Vicente Dalmau Cebrián-Sagarriga, Conde de Creixell, tõelisest aadlisoost härrasmees. Nende vein on kriitikute poolt tunnistatud 2020.aastal maailma parimaks.

Unique wine tasting with Marqués de Murrieta l 35 €. 30th of May at 18:30
Marqués de Murrieta is a legend both in Spain and internationally. His Castillo de Ygay is an emblematic mansion, inspired by a French castle from 1852. The Marquis of Murrieta is one of the oldest winemakers in Rioja, Spain. In this region, Vicente Dalmau Cebrián Sagarriga, Count of Creixell, and a true gentleman from a noble family, has owned and managed the winery for 35 years. His wine has been recognized by critics as the best wine in the world in 2020.
We will have a videoconference conversation with the friends of Marqués de Murrieta. And of course we will taste the wines of these fine winemakers. The five wines that we will try together with Spanish tapas are ALBARIÑO PAZO BARRANTES 2019, PRIMER ROSE 2020, RESERVA 2017, GRAN RESERVA 2015 and DALMAU 2016.

Marqués de Murrieta es una leyenda tanto en España como a nivel internacional. Su Castillo de Ygay es una mansión emblemática, inspirada en un castillo francés de 1852. El Marqués de Murrieta es uno de los enólogos más antiguos de Rioja, España. En esta región, Vicente Dalmau Cebrián Sagarriga, Conde de Creixell, y un auténtico caballero de familia noble, es propietario y gerente de la bodega desde hace 35 años. Su vino ha sido reconocido por la crítica como el mejor vino del mundo en 2020.
